Individual Therapy

Sometimes individuals seek out therapy with a clear goal in mind or area of focus and other times there is a sense of wanting something to be different but perhaps with less clarity of exactly what it is or how to address it. Areas of individual focus can include coping with depression or anxiety, sleep issues, family or relationship struggles, addiction and recovery, life and career transitions, sexuality, mid-life issues, and emerging adults struggling with academics or early adulthood issues. As a therapist I seek to work collaboratively with you in a safe, nonjudgmental setting to explore ideas and alternative outcomes. I often suggest readings, videos, or topics of self-exploration for clients who are receptive to doing work outside of the therapy room.
